Description

"Col. B. W. Wrenn, passenger traffic manager of the Plant System, has just returned from a month’s trip to the north and east, where he has been looking after interests of the Canada and Atlantic Steamship Line of that System. All of these steamships have been running full during the summer, and all available space on them is engaged for two weeks ahead.
July 4, Vice President M. F. Plant, Mr. D. F Jack, assistant to the president, and Colonel Wrenn landed at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, where they celebrated the day by tendering a reception to the governor and a number of prominent citizens of the island and on the American steamship Olivette.
Over fifty officials of the city and the island were present and were entertained on the steamer, and more than 5,000 citizens of the island visited and inspected the ship during the day."
