Title

Fourth of July- An Unfortunate Split, p. 2

Description

"Every American Citizen, whether native or adopted, must deeply regret the unfortunate condition of affairs in the preliminary arrangements which are now being made for the celebration of our national birthday anniversary. As things now stand – unless better counsel should prevail – two celebrations are inevitable. We shall hope, however, for the best. Our space is too small to allow us to give an expression of our views on the subject this week, but we will do so the next."
