“Sunday School attendance was announced as eighty-two last Sunday, with eight teachers and three officers present, and a lively lesson discussion, generally on the effects of alcohol, with a special lesson review by Mrs. M. Foots. The pastor Rev. C. Canada made the closing remarks and finance for the school totaled $4.65. A member of visitors were present at the morning hour with a special message brought by the pastor and collection totaling $2.58. Listed among the sick this week is Miss Ida May Smith.
In celebration of the Fourth of July, the Jubilee Singers will have charge of a program and barbecue will be served on the ground. The public is invited to attend. Mrs. Ida C. Johnson is reporter for the church and special PRESS representative in this section.”
