Description

“The fourth of July was celebrated in a fitting manner. No classes were held on that day. In the morning the students had patriotic exercises, the principal address being delivered by a summer school teacher, Mr. M. L. Rooks Brinkley, Ark. In the afternoon there were athletic games, and a band concert at night on the White Hail lawn.”
