"A change in normal State Street shopping hours was announced by the State Street Council, due to the forthcoming summer holidays of Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Since both holidays fall on a Sunday, Stores will observe the events on the following days, May 31 and July 5. The usual Monday evening shopping hours will be observed on the next day, that is Tuesday, June 1 after Memorial Day and Tuesday, July 6 after the Fourth of July."
