"An excursion to Charleston will be given on the fourth of July by the First Battalion Georgia Volunteers. The day will be celebrated in grand style by the entire colored military of Charleston in which the Savannah troops will take part. The Charleston troops are making the preparations to make the demonstration the grandest since the war."
